So I am proud to say that after the disastrous first day of work, my week got a lot better. I got into the hang of things at the hospital, and I shadowed the manager of the surgery department so closely that at one point he asked me to give him some space. Ooops.
Work aside, I might have made a new friend in my apartment building. Her name is Sarah and although she is two years younger than me, she acts like she's two years older (which is strange because I've always been told that I'm extremely mature for my age). She seems fun, down-to-earth, and she is definitely a knockout. Since it's usually more difficult for me to make good friends, I am definitely looking forward to getting to know her more and potentially making a new great friend.
Sarah is also fresh out of grad school, and she is also new to the get-a-real-job world. I can see us sitting on the couch Monday nights, bitching about starting a new work week while laughing about our embarrassing stories, since it appears that strange, embarrassing things happen to her just like they do to me (she laughed her ass off at my first day on the job story). Finally, I'm not alone!
The last major detail is her mysterious money issues. Or, more like the abundance of money she seems to have but doesn't share anything about. It's hard to miss the high-end brands and expensive things she has scattered all over her place, but when I try to joke about them, she gets this look on her face and changes the subject. So her family is obviously well off, but I don't see why she feels the need to be cryptic about it. Weird, but I guess some people are just like that about money.
Anyway, I have things to take care of, such as comforting a friend of mine from home who just broke up with her longtime boyfriend, so I'm out for today, folks...but stay tuned, because I have some juicy details about that guy at work who was laughing at my (can't believe I'm actually saying this) cowlick and stomach growling. Let's just say that the guy definitely has some male potential.

YAY! for your following my blog.
AS for this girl... truth be told I am sorta a brand girl myself. Its not hard to do even if you are broke (like me). Marshalls, Ross and Dillards etc.
I am not saying this chick isnt rich cause she probably is. I just look like a balla on a budget! :)
