Big Move-In Day...and Night

So it's official...I am now a resident of Boston. Well, I wouldn't exactly say that I am living in Boston, but if I go outside and walk for half an hour, I may be able to reach Boston.

Anyway, moving in was not as much fun as I would have imagined it to be. I had so much crap to carry that I thought my arm was going to fall off, and I ended up tripping over a box labeled "sexy bras" outside my apartment while a cute guy (neighbor, maybe?) was walking past me, drawing his attention to the label on the box. Well, maybe I'll get lucky and he was just visiting someone upstairs? A girl can hope.

After finally loading all the stuff from the car into my apartment, I didn't have any space to walk around and couldn't find any food to eat. So, I called Jess and suggested we go out to eat dinner.

"First night out on the town, huh? Okay, get ready for some fun tonight. I'll be over in half an hour. Put on something that will draw attention."

Jess is a friend from high school that I was able to keep in touch with for all throughout college, amazingly enough. The girl is so outgoing that sometimes she socials the hell out of me, and I'm not exactly quiet. But, if there is anyone you want to go out with for a "night on the town," it's definitely her.

"I'll wear something..interesting, how about that?" I suggested. Then I hung up. If you let Jess argue for more than two minutes, you'll end up siding with her no matter how opposed you are to what she's suggesting.

I ended up wearing my new BCBG dress that I bought on sale, and I put on my black strappy heels that I had been saving for a special occasion. What better time to wear them than this?

I let Jess lead me to wherever it was she wanted to take us, which I should have known not to do, because I realized that she had brought us to some club in downtown Boston.

"Jessica, when I called you to take me out, I meant dinner, not drinking and dancing with hundreds of horny guys rubbing up against me."

She looked at me with a little smile and an evil smirk in her eye. "Darlin', there's no better way to celebrate than to drink a little, dance a little, and...well, I'll let you figure out the rest," she finished, leading me into the club. Well, this is going to be interesting...
